Coat beef with flour. Heat oil in large deep skillet or Dutch oven on medium heat. Add beef; cook until browned on all sides. 2. Stir in Seasoning Mix and water. 3. Bring to boil. Cover. Reduce heat and simmer 45 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add vegetables; simmer 1 hour or until beef and vegetables are tender, stirring. Thicken stew with additional flour, if desired. Must be cooked for food safety.

Rich Flavor & So Easy to Use
My fiancé and I both have really busy schedules, and I'm in nursing school, so I love anything that makes dinner easier. I tossed everything into the crockpot with this seasoning mix before class, and by the time we got home, the house smelled amazing. The stew came out super flavorful and rich. It saved me so much time and still tasted homemade. We both went back for seconds, and I'd definitely buy this again.

Great taste, easy stew
Obviously, this is for stew. I make stew about once a month. The directions for this shows cooking on the stove top. I don't. I cook it in the crock pot. It also says use water. I use tomato juice. The reason I like it is it has all the herbs and spices I would have to use and it's all in one small package. I do season my stew meat but it's not necessary. So I do give this 5 stars. Oh, and I have made beef noodle soup with it too. Yummy.

Comforting & Delicious Dinner
McCormick sent me this free sample of the Classic Beef Stew Seasoning Mix through the BzzAgent sampling program. It was super easy to make and very affordable. I used chuck roast because it was the cheapest and it turned out so tender and delicious. My whole family enjoyed it for a couple days. It's definitely better next day so try not to finish it the first day. I also recommend seasoning the beef with salt and pepper before tossing it in flour and browning it so the meat is better seasoned. Overall, I would love to make this again!
