I bought this for my downstairs bathroom about 3 years ago. My old seats would move a lot. This one worked so well, I decided to buy a second one for my upstairs bathroom. They're sturdy and look nice with the silver metal bits in the back versus plastic pieces. They're heavier than plastic seats, so be careful "dropping" them if you have small children or pets that might put fingers or faces where they don't belong! It fit my toilet perfectly. Easy cleaning.

This toilet seat is solid and and very stable. It feels good to sit on something that isn't flimsy. I would buy this again. The metal hinges and their attachment bolts feature a compresible bushing and a torque assuring nut with a calibrated shear off feature The last toilet seat I had, had plastic hinges. They broke, and the blasted thing slid sideways and dumped me upside down into the bathtub.

Great toilet seat! Last one we got was an "easy off" for cleaning and the seat kept coming apart. This seat stays in place, is sturdy and was very easy to install. This seat was a much better fit for a family of heavy people!
