As fourth album was named after finding she shared a first name with the Hindu goddess of music Matangi who just so happens to be the goddess of untouchables. MIAs casual internet investigations uncovered funny parallels between herself and her Goddess, most comically that Matangis mudra, her signature hand-shape when in yoga position, was flipping her middle finger and the album MATANGI was born.
