I chose these sheets because they fit an at-home hospice hospital bed (with an egg crate mattress pad) perfectly. They're cheap so I bought enough to rotate. They are on the thinner side, but have a cool silky feeling. Have held up after 5 washes with no bleeding. Probably best for a guest bedroom as may not hold up if you wash your sheets regularly for an extended period of time. Worth the price.

nice and soft but its best feature is that it fits thicker mattresses nicely and stays in place. i have a 14" mattress i took a chance because the description said up to 13" but fits perfectly on mine. it doesn't shift when you move or get of bed i am a big gal so to get out of bed and see the sheet hasn't shifted is a PLUS!!

Not only do i recommend them the Mainstays microfiber are about the only sheets I will buy and I've purchased several sets various sizes over the years. I've only added extra sets of replaced ones damaged by carelessness. Not had any worn out. Feel they are best described as cross between satin and cotton. They are little softer than high quality cotton and not quite as slick as satin. Recent changes I've noticed less variety in colors, but still decent amount to pick from.
