Mainstays Fraser Tablecloth, Arctic White, 60"W x 84"L

I chose this 70-inch round Mainstays tablecloth in the round shape to use either on a small round accent table or to use on a dining table. I first decided to use it on a dining room table. However, after trying it, I decided to use it on a small accent table as the cloth extended almost down to the floor on that table, and it allowed me to dress up the table through the elegance of the white colored tablecloth and by adding a vase of flowers. This tablecloth is actually 100% polyester, but it looks much nicer than a polyester fabric normally would. As can be seen in my photos, this fabric has a beautiful texture to it which gives it a simple elegance. I chose the tablecloth in white, and the item is actually a very bright white but appears a little more off-white in my photos due to the lighting during the time of day in which I took the photos. The tablecloth itself is machine washable and tumble dry permanent press with a cool down cycle. It is supposed to be easy to care for. Mainstays has done a beautiful job of taking simple polyester and turning it into a much pricier-appearing tablecloth. I have not yet washed this item; therefore, I cannot speculate on whether or not it actually needs ironing or whether stains are easily removed from it. I really like the selection of colors and shapes in which Mainstays is making these tablecloths. I am looking at picking up one or two other colors or shapes for other areas of my house once I have had the opportunity to machine wash this one. My only concern is keeping my mischievous cat off the tablecloth as it seems to me that the fabric could snag easily if her claws were to snag it. For the price, I think this is a very attractive tablecloth.

This pretty table cloth has classy look without the hassle. It is generous enough for or medium to small table. It has a good weight to it, heavy enough so that it drapes nicely on you table, yet light, making it easy to carry and fold. I washed it and dried it on low. It did not seem to shrink and came out of the dryer almost wrinkle free, even after it sat all night mixed with sheets and towels, in the dryer. I turned the dryer on and let it tumble for about 3 minutes and it only had light wrinkles which smoothed out when put on the table. I did notice that the seams needed to be ironed as they looked somewhat gathered or puckered and not flat and crisp so I ironed the seams and the puckers on the hem ironed out nicely, (see picture). Even unironed, I think it looks very nice. Being 100% polyester makes it more stain resistant making laundering much easier.
