Prefer LED, brown cord is good for some uses

These are warm white lights which I prefer. they come boxed like most mini lights. they are LED, so should last longer, burn cooler, and save on electricity. The brown cord makes them perfect to use on the brown trim of my house. Match the color and intensity of all the rest of my mini lights. Seem to light reliably so far. Would recommend LEDs over traditional lights because of the energy savings and lower heat hazard. I will buy these again.

Mainstays 100 LED Mini Lights - Brown Wire

I was asked to review this set of lights by Walmart as part of the Walmart Spark Reviewer Program. Actually, I received this set of lights the day after I took down my Christmas tree for the year; therefore, I cannot show photos of them actually on the tree. However, I was very excited to receive them. I chose the warm white LED lights (100 ct) with brown wire. I personally do not think it makes any difference if the wire is brown or green. They both blend in well with the colors of the Christmas tree. These are indoor/outdoor lights; so that makes them extra nice in case you need lights for your outside decorations...either at Christmas or during other holidays. The bulbs are a little different on this set from the lights that I had on the tree this year. The lights I was using were also white mini lights (but more of a candle shape). These lights have more of a oval-shaped bulb. Actually, once the lights are on the tree, I do not think it would make any difference if the lights are candle shaped or oval. They both light up and glow beautifully. Unless you are standing very near the tree, you could not discern the difference in the shape of the bulb. Each set is 19.5 ft. long with end-to-end construction. You can string up to 30 sets. I found these lights to be nice and bright when I plugged them in. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for lights for their Christmas tree.

Simple little lights

Love these little lights! They are awesome for brown furniture and small plants due to the brown cording. The bulbs stay cool while on which is really important to me for safety. Really pretty lights. These go great with my other mainstay lights which I also love. I'm favorite part with these is the brown cording.
