I suddenly needed to add black out drapes to a bedroom but I didn't want to drill holes on the wall so I purchased this rod and it worked perfectly. The glue is very strong and I stuck the brackets to my painted wall without any issues. I hung the drapes and everything has stayed up and secure ever since - it's been a couple of months now. The balls at the ends add a decorative and attractive touch. It's all lightweight metal and it came with everything needed to install, glue pads and also screws. I like the style and the quality.
