It increases the size of your light-emitting surface by over 250% for a softer glow over a bigger area. Round Head Optimized

Newly redesigned and optimized for round-head flashes, the MagSphere 2 was optimized for improved round-head flash performance. The MagSphere 2 works with a variety of mixed flash brands, including round-head flashes so you won’t need to upgrade all of your modifiers when you move up to a different size flash.
