Sturdy. My husband assembled it by himself, took him about 45 mins. Perfect height for our 15 month old. Now he can easily get on and off the bed. No squeaking noise, my toddler is a light sleeper and wakes up when I get off the bed in the middle of the night to use potty 😅. My only concern is the sharp edge, wish they made a round like one.
