the silicone scrapper has been very helpful in cleaning my carpet. my dog sheds extra as the seasons change, and it gets to a point where her fur is just falling off. this cleaning tool easily swipes the carpet of almost all of her hair. This works great

There seem to be some reviews from people not quite sure how to use this item. The bristle side is NOT for getting pet hair out of the carpet. It's for using like a regular broom on hardwood, tile, things like that. I have several different types of carpet and the bristles do not work for any of them. Rotate the broom 180 degrees to use the squeegee side for getting the pet hair out of the carpet. The product is very sturdy. I had previously bought the Helio brand and it snapped in half almost immediately. Highly recommend this one.
