This quilt was generously sized (not as big as pictured). I bought the full/queen for a queen sized bed and it covered my fairly thick mattress down to the box springs. It was soft and the dark gray color was exactly as pictured. It is very thin as others have said, but I am using it as an additional layer and for aesthetics. The quality was fine and not unlike others that were more expensive. I would buy again. Haven't washed it yet.
