I am in the process of making homemade sourdough bread and was lacking a suitable dutch oven. It had to be at least 5 quarts, able to be placed in an oven and be made out of cast iron. This one not only met, but exceeded my needs. The plus was it was enamel coated, not a seasoned cast iron pot. It is already to go. Just waiting for my starter to be ready and bake away. A real win, win in my book.

i like this pot. its heavyduty and easy to clean. i wish that it was bigger capacity because i like to cook one pot meals. its not cheap, but could be a lifelong investment if properly taken care of. dont use metal utensils, and if you do, dont scrape or scratch the bottom

I haven't had any issues with this cast iron enameled pot. I cook most things in here. Food cooks evenly. They do have a lifetime warranty, which I am in the process of for another one of their products. Over years food does tend to stick but I mean turn down the heat some. Good buy overall. Oh, and when I say I cook most things in here.... I mean EVERYTHING!
