Arrived on time, ready to use after quick rinse and light touch-up of oil ~ was dusty from sitting on shelving. Heat evenly spread, heated quickly... Even though my stove top isn't the best (rented apt, older model stove). Not first purchase of Lodge brand, definitely won't be the last! Highly recommend, if you're interested in true cast iron cookware.

I purchased this over month ago and have been seasoning it for about 5-6 times in oven. I cooked for the first time in this skillet over the weekend, and it did great. I was cooking with very lean hamburger meat, heated up skillet first and put a little olive oil in to start and there was no sticking whatsoever. Cleanup was a breeze. I like the construction of this skillet as it has the 2 handles and this is so much easier for me to lift, etc. I will cook with more fatty foods for a while to get it seasoned good. I am very happy with it and think the price was very reasonable.
