Moen quality placed in secondary bathroom looks great and very sturdy

ReBath recently installed 4 of these 24" Brushed Nickel grab bars for us. 2 verticals are on the outside of the shower curtain and should not allow water to accumulate due to the scalloped edging of the cover and bar. ReBath applied sealant only at the cover/wall interface, not at the obviously exposed gaps. ReBath did not allow a weep hole at the bottom center for any accumulated water to escape. The 2 sets of Moen Product Description and Installation instructions are incomplete. Only the former addresses application of sealant at the flange/wall interface. The latter instructions do not address application of sealant at all. By Moen not addressing sealing the gap is a known product defect. Moen needs to do product testing to ensure water does not accumulate resulting in possible mold growth under normal showering conditions.
