Linksys, WRT54GS Wireless Broadband Router

I purchased this last night at our local Wal-mart on sale. I tried to hook it up myself which didn't work. So I spent an hour on the phone with a very nice Linksys representative that tried everything to get me connected. Finally after exhausting all his options he told me to call AT&T and get them to bridge the modem. I called them and the tech tried to help by taking me through the same steps that Linksys had already tried and when it didn't work tried to send me to their paid tech support. $99 to try and get my router to work. I knew there had a to be a better way. I called Linksys back and told them that I had the modem bridged and in less than 5 minutes and no extra money paid out, I was connected. I never got charged for anything, it wasn't even mentioned when I called and the customer/tech service was very polite. Thank you Linksys for listening even with the kids screaming in the background, your patience with me and saving me from spending more money. I will pass on your name to other friends and family that need routers and other products you sell.

It took me about 2 hours to try and configure my router finally I gave up and call the 1-800 # cust. service line to my surprise they were very helpful they had me up and running in 15 minutes I have my home cpu, my laptop, and also my i-pod touch all connected 100% signal strength throughout my house and garage.
