nice fabric, fits well, easy care

I much prefer using a pillow protector than constantly buying new pillows when they inevitably get stained, or taking a chance on how a pillow will come out of the wash. I have not done too well on that gamble in the past. Pillow protectors are definitely the way to go. I love how easy this one is to wash: machine wash cold, tumble dry low. I didn't even use gentle cycle and it was fine. It did come out very wrinkled, but that doesn't bother me since it's going to be covered by a pillow case. It fits a standard sized pillow perfectly, and zips up snugly with no leftover fabric. My pillow is fairly fluffy - not the fluffiest, but certainly not flat. If you have a very puffy pillow, you might have to squish it a smidge to get it all in and zipped up. It didn't seem to shrink in the washer or dryer at all, so I think it's just a snugly fitting cover. There is a nice thickness to it that I think will help keep my pillow clean from any dreaded saliva or oily head. And the finish is very smooth. The laundry tag is on the outside of the pillowcase, which may or may not be to your liking, but the tag has clear directions.

Appears Well Made

These pillow protectors are 100% cotton with a 500 thread count. They are double stitched at the seams and I had no issues with the zippers. I like that they are 100% cotton. Cotton breathes in summer and winter for comfort, unlike polyester. They are machine washable and will protect my pillows for many years. I recommend them.

Excellent Down Pillow.

I only sleep with Down Pillows because in my opinion they are superior to all other pillows. And this pillow is a fine choice if you feel the same way. I sleep on my back and both sides and ordered the "medium density" as was recommended. I couldn't be happier and will be ordering more for every bed in the house!
