Very solid for the money

Remarkably sturdy for the price. The 'shelves' are thin fabric. if you have a cat, they will not last an hour. However, the system can be assembled in a few ways (outside directions) and is very good. Walmart sells art-boards that fit perfectly in place of the fabric shelves. Surprisingly solid. Excellent value - even factoring in the additional board purchase (measure, and you'll find the boards in the art section). It's more sturdy and versatile than I would have imagined, and even factoring in the additional wool shelf buy-in, very good value.
