I was able to fit five summer outfits, a sweater, three pair of socks, seven pairs of underwear, and a bathing suit inside of it, using the vacuum seal. And I was able to fit my charger and mini iPad. And I like the side pockets that hold a water bottle on one side and the rechargeable air pump on the other side.. But there was nowhere to put a pair of sneakers. If you're traveling with just flip-flops or thin shoes, this would be a great backpack around Europe. But if you want any pair of chunky shoes or sneakers, this won't work. They're also wasn't a pocket easily accessible to carry my liquid liquids in a quart size baggie for the TSA check.
