This Rocky Outback's upper was assembled with premium full-grain leather; while it is certainly very soft, the material has great durability and strength. GORE-TEX® fabric has been added into the design of this footwear; having it ensures that these 9" outdoor boots will remain durably waterproof, breathable and windproof. To enhance your level of comfort within these #8729 boots, a Rocky Terra Suspension footbed has been inserted. This polyurethane insert helps cushion your steps and aids in absorbing shock. Are you hesitant about the boot's grip? Don't be, the Outback rubber outsole provides fantastic traction and allows your footing to be steady when you're walking on rugged terrain. Whether you're headed for the hills or going to work, this rugged and good-looking Rocky Outback GORE-TEX® Outdoor Boot (#8729) with moc-toe styling will keep you dry and comfortable.

I've had my eye on these Outback boots for a while now. I had a pair but they were too small so when the time came this holiday season I jumped on the opportunity to get a pair that fits at twenty percent off. I'm excited to have them. I took them to the cobbler to have the hooks replaced with quick lace brass rings. Excited to get them back for a wintry new year. If you're looking for a tough boot that will get you through the elements this boot is the boot.
