Rocky Sport Pro Rubber 1200G Insulated Waterproof Outdoor Boot

I was reluctant to try them on at 1st other rubber boots in similar styles I found to be uncomfortable and slappy on your feet or tight in the calf and not flexible enough for hiking to my hunting area. When I tried them on I was surprised to feel the fit and support and level of comfort in these boots With the zip-up in adjustable sides I was able to tuck my pants into them Without bunching or balling up or having uncomfortable rubbing on my calf's. The top is soft and flexible for plenty of movement and the bottom is rugged and supportive enough for a rugged terrains but still comfortable. Just with trying them on I was sold. The 1200 g thinsulate is a big part of what I need because I do a lot of hunting and ice fishing in sub 0 weather I also need waterproof boots because wet feet is never nice Especially in the cold nothing will ruin your day faster. After I brought the boots home from the store I went for a short hike it was about 9ﾟF I went to the Creek to test them out I broke through the ice and stood in about 13" of water for about 20 minutes and my feet stayed warm and dry. So far me and my feet are very happy with these boots. I have already recommended them to a couple of my friend. Just for reference point if buying online mine ran one size larger So I got one size smaller than what I normally wear fits perfect.

I purchased these boots from the Rocky website. When they arrived, there was 2 things I was skeptical of. First was the side zipper. I thought that it wouldn't really be water proof. Second was how they initially fit. The rubber that goes around my ankle was kind of tight. It was kind of annoying. But, I've always had good luck with Rocky boots so I kept them. Wore them out hunting last weekend and was not disappointed. Walked through some really deep nasty mud and water and my feet were dry. The rubber loosened up around my ankle and the fit is very comfortable now. These are great boots and I'm glad I kept them. These boots are a replacement boot for a pair that I've owned for 21 years .... hopefully these will last just as long.
