This product is an over the counter ANTIVIRAL. (and it works!). I used to get fever blisters but no more. I take one every night. If I start to come down with a cold, I take 2 tablets every 6 hours for 24-48 hours until the symptoms are gone. I will never be without these pills.

This is a pretty big caplet that some may not like. horse pills are no big deal for me though. I take one of these tryptophan caplets and 2 valerian root along with magnesium Complex before bedtime. The body uses tryptophan to make serotonin and melatonin both of which are helpful for a good night's sleep. would definitely recommend.
