This bench is sturdy without looking bulky. I liked that it didn't scream "hey I'm made if plastic!" Like other patio/outdoor storage bench. Like anything directions were a little hard to read, but I found a flyer in the box for virtual directions, which would have helped me. Overall it took me and my husband around 30 minutes to get it together. Everything snapped nicely in place.
