I use it for gluten-free recipes, to thicken soups, and even for making crispy coatings. The texture is fine and smooth, with no lumps, and it blends well with other flours. The packaging is convenient, and the price is reasonable for the amount you get. Overall, it's a great staple to keep in the kitchen.

As I debated the many flavors of delicious teas and iced drinks I'd soon be consuming, I noticed the packaging suggested a gluten free bread recipe. Intrigued, I made it my weekend plan to truly put this gluten substitute to the dupe-test… would anyone know I swapped in tapioca flour? I opened the bag and was initially impressed. The texture is velvety, there is no scent, and it spreads on surfaces like flour. So far, truly a flour dupe. But the taste test would be the deciding factor. No one suspected a thing as I served up garlic bread tonight, and I waited all dinner to see if anyone questioned the flavor or texture. No one batted an eye. I dove in and was pleased to experience nothing but garlic bread. Everything was as it should be, no after taste, no off putting texture, no nonsense. I highly recommend and will continue to substitute this in for flour (or, maybe get to making boba already!)
