Ball freshTECH Automatic Jam and Jelly Maker

This is the fastest, simplest, and easiest way to make jam and jelly. I will not ever make jam or jelly the "old-fashioned" way again. I hope Ball makes this maker much larger so I can make a dozen 12-oz jars of jam/jelly in a batch instead of only three of them. If they do make a larger size, I will be one of the very first people to volunteer to test it. I do have one suggestion, set your own timer for the 4-minutes and then again for the rest of the time as the beeps on the Maker are very soft and are hard to hear for us "old folks". The first batch I made, I had to stand right at the Maker to hear the beeps, but for all the other batches, my timer is so loud that I could do other things while I was waiting for the beeps.

If you're a starter jam maker or one who likes to experiment, this is a great machine to have. Recipes are still limited, but I have already added to recipes in the book. It's relatively easy to manage and doesn't take up a lot of counter space. Drawbacks are using Ball products( not always easy to find) and having to wait 1/2 hour between batches. I plan to experiment using other pectins, as I have several boxes on hand.
