I don't eat a lot of pasta, but sometimes crave it and these single serve bags are perfect for that. I rinse them with hot water in a strainer to warm them up a little then pat them dry with paper towels. Then I put red or white clam sauce or spicy hot tomato sauce, that's been heated, on top and mix. The texture of the angel hair is the same as Oodles of Noodles pasta that I used to eat as a kid. I've tried the fettucine and I didn't like that. It was too much of that type of texture in a larger noodle. Not the same. The angel hair is perfect and I always keep it in the cupboard to have on hand. Yes, it's much more expensive than regular pasta, but I don't feel guilty eating it and I'm not feeding a whole family. I have read of people getting gastrointestinal distress, but I've had no issues and I only eat it once in a while. Not every day.

Although these products may taste a bit like overcooked pasta it delicious in soup or as a stand alone dish with clam or thick red sauces. The nutritional benefit of enjoying a mere 9 carbohydrate dish is worth it. It isn't as filling as a bowl of regular pasta. It is part of my weekly meal plan.
