Ironwear 1287 Class 2 Flame-Retardant X-Back Safety Vest w/ Zipper & Radio Clips

The Ironwear 1287 safety vest is the first barrier of protection for those working in high-traffic areas where the risk of ignition is present. Made from hi-vis polyester mesh fabric with a zipper front closure, this Type R vest is treated with flame-retardant properties and tested under ASTM D6413 methods to self-extinguish when caught on fire. The 2 in silver reflective tape is layered over 4 in contrasting fabric that wraps around the torso, over the shoulders and chest pockets and across the back in an X-pattern to provide high visibility that meets ANSI/ISEA 107 Class 2. For added convenience, 2 radio clip holders and 6 total pockets are integrated into the vest’s design, including 2 flap pockets at the waist, 2 hook and loop chest pockets and 2 inner chest pockets. This safety vest is ideal to protect against fire hazards and boost visibility in all but the most demanding applications – from factory workers, utility workers and maintenance workers to jogging, cycling, walking or fishing. To clean, simply handwash in warm water and mild detergent, then leave to air dry. For heavy soiling, gently spot clean with a mild soap. Do NOT machine dry. Do NOT use sanitizers or aggressive cleaning solutions such as bleach or acetone. Employing cleaning methods other than those outlined above may shrink the vest, ruin the reflective tape or dim the coloring below safe standards.
