Buy if you know the drill....

I bought this International Caravan Widnsor 3 Drawer Nightstand for my home office to use as a printer stand and to store my printer paper and ink. It is beautiful, but the quality control and workmanship was terribly flawed. I.) I attached 3of the legs ... then the fourth leg would not tighten ... I re-examined the socket ... the manufacturer had drilled two holes so closely, a figure 8 was formed. I broke off the ends of several wooden match sticks, hammered them into the huge hole, then drilled. The 4th leg now attached, but still wobbled a bit. I unscrewed the 4th leg, used a tiny bit of packing cardboard to cushion the 4th leg's screw, and again attached the leg. Not a perfect fit, but good enough. Then I attached self-adhesive flannel discs to the bottoms of all four legs so that the rough-hewn wood would not scratch my laminate floor. 2.) I had to attached the ""drop Bail Pull"" to the top drawer: the two foundations for the pull were already attached, so I only had to unscrew one foundation in order to fit the rods of the ""pull"" into the attached foundations, then re-screw the foundation I had removed. I discovered that the manufacturer had drilled the holes too far apart so that the ""pulls"" two ~ 1/16"" rods would not fit into the foundation knobs and stay in place. It clattered to the floor. I had to redrill the hole closer in. The first try was too close. So I disconnected the other foundation and drilled closer to the original hole where that second foundation screws in ... Then ... finally ... I could apply the ""pull"" to the sockets of the foundations' knobs; it now fits well and stayed in place. The top drawer's ""Drop Bail Pull"" is a bit off center from those of the two bottom drawers 3.) When pulling out the top drawer, I discovered that the right-hand side of the drawer was damaged. The Tongue-And-Groove fithe side panel did not fit properly. The wood splintered, and broke off. I had drill and screw on end and widen the groove on the other end.
