Fantastic Book

I believe this is one of Dean Koontz's best books - I don't know what the previous reviewer was expecting. I could not put this book down. There is a miniseries based on the book - I would give the series **** stars. Not quite as good as the book, but good.

A disappointment for sure.

I've read several books by Dean Koontz and this is the worst by far. It took me about 2 weeks to finish this book instead of just a few days. I had to keep putting it down because the story never "grabbed" me. The story picked up a little when you get to see things from the killer's point of view and it picks up again at the end but events leading to the end are just plain boring. I did like the end, though. The killer gets what he deserves and everyone lives happily ever after.
