Does what I want
I had an old PC with a DVI port and I wanted to hook it up to my TV which did not have a DVI port. Fortunately I found one available online at Walmart, purchased it, plugged it into my old PC, ran an HDMI cable to the TV and WALLA! Woes what I want and works great.
