Bought it to increase capacity of my current air compressor, now it doesn't cycle on and off as often, so a cheaper alternative than buying another compressor, and even if I do upgrade to a bigger compressor I can still use this tank on my new compressor.

Great booster tank !!

Years ago I bought a 5.2 gallon Makita air compressor in hope to some day be able to run some air tools for short periods. Well that day has finally come. I bought a 1/2" drive impact but could only run it @ 90 psi for 5 seconds. I looked online for a solution and came across this 20# tank and bought it. I put air filters between the compressor and 20# tank to reduce restrictions after the 20# tank. So I get a full 90 psi at the tool with a 50 foot 3/8" hose. It increased my run time tremendously and worked better for me than I expected.

As the review title says this is what you get and American made. Needed this for a work project, once I'd switched out the fittings to provide a local air reservoir and a check valve, machine will remain in a safe condition even if upstream air supply is starved.
