Incase Compass Backpack w/ Flight Nylon Olive

Love the weight and the pockets. It's a great backpack and I gave it to a friend who loves it.

The backpack has just enough padding where required and seems to offer reasonable protection for laptops. I have a Dell 15.6" Latitude work machine that fits in the pocket perfectly so I suspect most "standard size" laptops will fit (not just thin macbooks).It has decent amount of small pockets to help organize. The top pocket accessible from the top zipper is a bit awkward when filled and you want to reach for the pen holders. You kind of have to flip the pouch out of the way. There is no mention of water resistance so I suspect if might not fair too well in a downpour but the bag seems to be made of an outer nylon shell, some sort of inner material that has some thickness to it (like foam) and an inner nylon fabric which would leads me to believe it could resist very light rain or snow. 2 major cons for me if I'm being picky: 1) there are no side pockets to hold bottles or small umbrellas. 2) I wish the bag had a bit more structure to it. Overall, it's a great bag for the price.
