Compact, light weight, easy to carry This air compressor does not take up much room because of its compact design. It is about 15 inches in diameter x 18.5 inches high (including the handle). At 32 lbs. one person can easily lift it with one hand. The compressor has two quick connect outlets. The quick connects on the compressor are Steel, not Brass. The gauges are on top, and somewhat shielded by the plastic housing, so it is unlikely that you will break them if the compressor rolls over. There is a water drain valve on the bottom to allow for you to remove the water that collects when using the air compressor. The compressor stops at 150 psi and turns back on at 110 psi. It takes 2 minutes 38 seconds to get up to 150 psi and stop. Testing using an air nozzle; we turned on the air nozzle at 150 PSI (regulator set at 90 psi). It dropped to 110 psi in 6 seconds, where the compressor kicked on. It took another 7 seconds for the pressure to drop to 90 psi. The compressor was able to maintain the 90-psi output for a total of 15 seconds. After we turned off the nozzle (at 90 psi) it took 1 minute 9 seconds for the compressor to get back up to 150 psi. The turn on (110 psi) and turn off (150) pressures are pretty close to the 90 psi working pressure. Also the tank is fairly small at 6 gallons, so the 90 psi working pressure is fairly short in this test. Testing using our Titanium Ingersoll Rand ½ inch impact wrench, and our Titanium Proto Air 3/8 ratchet. The 90 psi working pressure is maintained for 11 seconds on both the impact wrench and the air ratchet before it drops below 90 psi. It took 1 minute 9 seconds for the compressor to get back up to 150 psi and shut off. Since the unit is rated at 2.8 CFM at 90 psi, air nailers and similar tools that take on the order of 1 CFM at 90 psi will not exceed the units capacity. If you are using air ratchets or impact wrenches that take 4 CFM at 90 psi you will have limited run time at 90 psi, in our testing it was 11 seconds. These impact wrenches and air ratchets exceed the units capacity. In our case to remove 5 lug nuts to remove a tire, we were able to do that without waiting for the unit to catch up. The compressor does not have a duty cycle rating, which means that it will be up to the user to determine how long to keep it running continuously. We like the compressor for its portability.
