Hot Tools Signature Series Gold Curling Iron/Wand, 1.25", Black/Gold

I'm officially adding this iron to my collection! In fact this is the only size I didn't have. I have mixed thin hair which makes it difficult to create volume but I was able to wash, blow dry and curl my hair with this tool. The reason I like this more than others is because the heat dial makes it easy to get close to the exact temperature you're looking for. Caution: it gets very hot. I'm not sure who would use the dial turned up all the way cause I would imagine it would fry your hair right off. I use it on the lower numbers if my hair is already straight and I simply need a quick couple curls before work or a touch up. I use it on a medium temp if I just blow dried it and I want to do a couple passes to straighten it out a bit. As always, you want to use whatever heat protectant hair product you normally apply to your hair, let dry and then proceed with this iron so you don't do too much damage. I did my hair for the holiday with this iron and I received quite a few compliments. Pictures attached.

Stunning tool. I haven't seen these for many years. Nice to see them still having same quality. I remember them when there was the hot oven and the hair dresser would set them inisde to heat. This is electric and still delivers salon quality curls. I'm just an amateur who learns everything thing I know about beauty from YouTube. That said, this was very easy to use.
