Hibiclens Surgical Antimicrobial Skin Cleansers are an antimicrobial skin cleanser that possesses bactericidal activities. These cleansers have antiseptic activity and a persistent antimicrobial effect with rapid bactericidal activity against a wide range of microorganisms including gram-positive bacteria and gram-negative bacteria. Active Ingredients are CHG (Chlorhexidine Gluconate) 1 Each.Size: 1 Gallon
- These cleansers are non flammable and safe to use
- The efficacy is not compromised by contact with organic matter like blood
- Can bond to the skin to sustain its antimicrobial activity for up to 6 hours
- The effectiveness increases with use due to a cumulative effect

Love the fact that the price was the lowest of all throughout the world! Some manufacturers wanted $175.00 and more for one gallon of Hibiclens. I know Hibiclens cleans and disinfects for 24 hours and is used as a surgical scrub prior to surgery. After I poked a sharp spade device into my left leg, in an unfortunate garden accident, I rushed into the shower and scrubbed the heck out of that wound and rinsed and rinsed with a shower wand. That Hibiclens was a miracle worker, in this particular case, I also was Rx'd antibiotics and the wound healed. Amen, to Walmart!

My husband and I use hibiclens all the time. it is great to help if you have psoriasis or just keep any bacteria off of your skin. it'll last up to 72 hours as a barrier on your skin. The only issue I had with this was that it came in and the lid was popped off and broken and some of it spilled in the box.
