I washed on cold setting. No shrinkage. The material is a little thicker than the Fruit of the Loom brand. I bought one of each to see which one my husband liked. FOL brand he said was better for wearing under shirts. He said the Hanes could be worn alone or under a shirt, maybe more in fall.

Love the tagless feature, no sticking in the back of the neck. V-neck is the only way to go, does not "strangle" me. Has a long "tail" so it doesn't pull out of trousers. Shirts are very durable; I've had some for well over a year and they are still in good condition.
