Hamilton Beach Model 76510 Black Electric Can Opener Magnetic Lid Holder

I like that this can opener matches my kitchen appliances with its shiny black and chrome features. I do not think of it as being "extra tall" because it is the same height as my previous can opener. The magnet that attaches and holds the lid of a can is very strong, which is a good thing. It is wonderful that there is a bottle cap opener stored at the base of this can opener. There is also a knife sharpener on the back but I don't have any experience with sharpeners to know how to compare it. This is one of the better can openers on the market today. I was able to open several cans of tuna and extra large cans of vegetables with no difficulty. I was amazed how fast the cans were opened. It has a magnetic lid holder with the removable piercing lever,I found the magnetic lid holder more than capable of handling the tall cans. There is a bottle opener located at the bottom in its own storage compartment, a knife sharpener located in the back, although it will not sharpen serrated knives and a compartment for storing the cord, No need to worry about the cord hanging out on your counter or table Please read the manual for important safety information.
