Great Iron for a Great Price

I finally ditched my very old iron and invested in this one. Of course I wish I had done this sooner as it is such a wonderful iron, and not too expensive. I sew and use this often to take wrinkles out of fabric, or to set hems before sewing them. I love that I can control the amount of steam that comes out. I'm not a big fan of the automatic shut-off that occurs when the iron is lying flat, even if I'm moving it. I have yards of fabric to iron at one time, but I will not take off a star for this because its purpose is to ensure safety, so I'll deal with the minor hassle :-)

I absolutely love how well this iron steams and presses clothing without having to use a lot of force or weight into it to be able to get a crisp finish. With so many steam vents, it quickly and efficiently steams away wrinkles. And the retractable cord is a great added feature!

Could be a liiiiiiitle bit hotter

Beautiful to look at, heavy duty and great warranty. But it just doesn't outperform any other “less expensive” irons on the “non-steam” heat settings, even up to Linen. I'm gonna use this some more and if it doesn't get hot enough to make ironing a breeze as it claims to, it's going back and I'm getting the Chi which has better reviews (even though about $30 more)
