Hot and steamy

I'm a quilter I also do alterations and some sewing of garments I like a lot of steam and I like the iron to be hot as appropriate for the Garment. this thing has a really long cord that heats up quick gets good and hot and puts out a ton of steam. I'm very happy with it I used the German one for many years and the last one I got was from Germany and it leaked like an sob after about a year. so that one went to the thrift store. these are great irons I never had one with the lava plate and is just because I wanted to try it. I really like the sharp point when you're doing collars or small seams on a quilt.

This is our 3rd Chi iron. My husband wont use any other brand. I ordered a different model of this brand but had to send back for this one. IDK something about the steam holes and the weight. This seems to be the go-to for him. (He irons nightly so I leave these decisions up to him :)
