I'm a senior and I do have back trouble and lower disk. Trouble in my back so I started out slowly wearing them an hour and then another longer because with your back the way you walk can shift everything in your back. So I wanted to make sure I did it slow have back problems. The way you walk does shift and change your back.So I knew I had to do that slowly. .They have been great, they're comfortable. easy to put on -the ties in the front are adjustable, with just a push of the button they loosen %26 tightens the laces, so you don't have to tie them. I have wore them with socks and without socks. i measured my foot as I said from heel to tow and ordered the size from the size chart and they fit perfectly.

Podiatrist wants me to wear orthotics. It works but I was hoping to strengthen my ankles so I wouldn't need orthotics. Unfortunately I get pain particularly in my left ankle if I discard the orthotic but stiffness in my toe joints if I wear the orthotic. I like the lightness and look of the shoes however and wear them often!
