Strong Shop Vac

Purchased the 8 gal / 6 hp metal shop vac to replace my Shop Vac 8 gal / 5.5 hp metal. I use this mainly in my workshop to clean up sawdust and also on the outlets of my power tools. I like that the hose has a wider diameter and fits better in my table saw port. It has a large blue on/off button on the top of the unit makes it easy to use, and you can't miss it. I used it all day yesterday, and I noticed that I had much less sawdust escaping from my table saw cabinet. When using it with the extensions to clean up the floor, it did a good job, but the wider hose sometimes made maneuvering into a specific spot a little harder. I did not experience any issues with the attachments not "clicking" together, but I have only had it one day. Unit came with several attachments, a paper collection bag, a cartridge filter, and a foam wet filter. All attachments fit nicely on the unit, and the hose has two clips to keep it out of the way when storing. All in all, I am happy with the purchase.

I bought this for woodstove ash vacuuming. This works much better than my 5 gallon 20 yr old shopvac. Hart bag held a lot of ash, did not break. I used a Hart fine filter and it did much better too. Used to be a mess vacuuming ash with old shopvac. No mess with this bigger and stronger suctioning Hart. I'll use it for everything now.
