I'm a home cook. I have been cooking pasta for over 20 years now. I really enjoy the great value brand. You can pay about a dollar and feed a large family. I use these with the great value pasta sauce and garlic bread. Its a quick meal when I can't think. Plus it's cheap and filling can't get better than that.

Pasta kept on hand
Like most people I try to save money when I can and used to be brand loyal to a name brand for penne. One day I decided to try the Great Value brand and now the cupboard mostly has Great Value labels. These penne are great for alfredo and hold their shape well and I tend to purposely overcook any pasta as we do not like al dente at all! They look like the higher priced items. I keep this on hand am always ready in case I need pasta quickly.

I like Great Value pasta over the other brands.I lmake penne with vegetables like carrots, sweet peas, cauliflor, brocolli, red peppers, squash and a homemade white sauce. Cover with mozarella and Provolone cheese and 15 minutes in the oven. Delicious!
