I bought this to replace one I had for 30 years, that finally broke. This fits perfectly over my sink, where I have it mounted vertically. It's not fancy; it just does the job. It holds the roll of towels tightly enough that you can pull one off without the whole roll jumping down on you. I know from experience that it will loosen up a little over time and will become a little yellowed. It's the best one I've found for what I need, and I am glad I was able to find it at Walmart.com.
