Way too often Miami lightning storms and surges, coupled with the need to protect tv and stereo, as well as gaining easy access to shut down equipment since they are in a wall unit with really impossible access to the wall outlet makes this purchase a no brainer. This gives me peace of mind when I am not in Miami and gives me the ease of a readily accessable on/off switch for my TV and stereo. The Tripplite warranty is the icing on the cake. Don't think twice, buy a couple.

Being in rural Oklahoma we get plenty of lightening and storms.. it gives me peace of mind knowing that my electronics are covered . I purchased four surge protectors and now everthing is safe... I love the insurance policy that come with it.. I would recommend the Tripp.Lite if your worried about getting hit..

An excellent surge protector

This was one of several surge suppressors that I own from Tripp Lite. This is an awesome surge suppressor and outlet strip that is easily mounted to a wall, should you desire to do so. The end outlet is spaced to accept a larger power outlet which is very convenient.
