I bought this for our church, as our CD recorder quit working. I decided a solid state recorder would give less trouble. It was easy to hook up - the same connections I had to our CD recorder fit this. It is easy to use - just plug in a flash drive. It recognized it immediately. to record, just push the red button. to pause push the pause button. I take these files and put them on a CD to give out. We like to have two tracks, one with the opening music and one with the sermon. Push the stop button, the recorder writes the track. Then push the red button again to start a new track. What I like about it is (1) solid state, and (2) I can record the praise team practice before church, and play it back immediately so they can see how they sound. With the CD recorder I had to finalize the CD (2 minutes) then put it in the CD player, using a CD each time. It is easy to delete files, so after I make a CD from the files on the flash drive, I erase the them and we're ready for next time.
