'I am a human vocoder', singer Gerald Huber proclaimed, dancing his slick moves, when the six-piece first caught everybody's attention in 2009 with loads of airplay and rave press reviews in their native country of Austria. 'Two Faces' and one 'French Parade' later, they have arrived in the future with their new album 'Galaxy'. From I Am Cereals point of view, the future is the past is the future. Some might sense a slight retro- feeling in their electro pop songs but their look is straight forward. Every song is conceived as a single and each one is it's own little galaxy of dance music performed by a very tight liveband. The two singers Gerald Huber and Ben Martin melt their voices together to one unique sound while keyboardists Marcus Hufnagl and Felix Teiretzbacher fill up the space with sounds of the universe. All that being carried away by Christoph Richter on razor sharp synthbass lines driven hard and with force by Daniel Letschka's drums. 'You know what ... why don't you dance away your sorrow'
