How to be great your husband

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My husband thinks these are the best basting brushes EVER! And as a cook and griller he has used many. I think he actually crows about the GIR basting brushes! Thank you, GIR, as I luv to be great him and you helped me do that!

Basting Brushes

The ham needed to be basted for Easter. My grandson-in-law went searching for the wood/bristle one. Granddaughter said, she thew it out because it was DISGUSTING. He panicked and went to get his new grill one, but before he could, she pulled out the adorable small one and he basted happily away. I love it. Easy to clean and you KNOW it really is clean...unlike the wood one. Could you ever get those really clean? Doubtful.

I finally found it!!

I've tried a few types of basting brushes in the past and never found one I liked until now. Some never held enough liquid to be effective, some were too drippy and messy, with some (like nylon bristle brushes) didn't last long and stained easily, some didn't spread liquid well or evenly and some failed in multiple ways. At long last with the GIR basting brush my search is over. It holds a surprising amount of liquid and spreads it well without making a mess and since I can stick it in the dishwasher it's easy to clean and seems like it will hold up over time without losing effectiveness. Thanks GIR design team you've hit another home run with this one!
