I did not know if this little pot would stand up to the searing heat of the westbend tea maker, so I am very impressed with this tough, small, shatterproof pitcher. The westbend tea pot shattered, being glass, the second time I used it. I highly recommend it for anyone who had the unfortunate experience with the teapot that comes with Westbend tea maker. This pot slides right underneath the westbend tea maker, where the original pot should go. Just be sure of how much water to put into the reservoir. I'm sure that this pot will hold up well with any kind of drink you choose to pour into it.

I needed a couple of larger pitchers,,clear enough to see whats in it..lid stays on..but one spout was chipped when box fell over..but can still use it can get pretty heavy when filled up..don't be surprised.. but can hold 2 half gallon packets of pink lemonade..or the yellow too(little stronger)..nice enough for parties outside or set on the table..it's not crystal
