FoodSaver Elite All-in-One Liquid+ Vacuum Sealer with Bags and Roll, Black

Our regular/standard size food saver/vac sealer died on us after 4 years of significant use. We decided since we both hunt, go ahead and get the more expensive version. I came home and used it immediately and do not regret the extra money! Normally it is a 2 person job when we are stocking the freezer - one person cuts and seals the bags while the other is cutting the meat and filling the bags and then the first person vac seals the meat- this was always the most efficient way we could process a bunch of meat at once. Now with this machine - I was able to do the same amount of meat by myswlf in almost the same amount of time. Having the cutter built in allowed me to fill a bag while the bottom of the next bag was sealing. There was a lot less guess work of exactly how many bags I needed because when i ran out of meat i stopped cutting/sealing. The bag detector can be a little finiky but not much of a learning curve - just a little wiggle and if that doesnt seem to work you can lightly push down on the top and it'll work fine. Since I just bought this today - only time will tell if it's worth the $, but if it lasts us 4 years like the original one did - it's definitely worth it!
