our washer and dryer are in the garage. the only thing separating it from the other things was a wall of wooden shelving. Now I have an incredible laundry room! No worries when something drops on the floor, and it's beautiful! it is a treat to walk into this hip 50's retro space. My husband said it was easy as pie to lay. can't beat that combo.
Okay, so i am absolutely in love with this Floor Pops tile, but like the reviews said it does not match up so if you're looking for a perfect pattern you won't find it here. But I have to say we put it all down and you really don't even notice it. This is a temporary fix for us so maybe thats why it doesn't bother me as much.
Patterns do not match up.. It says on the container pattern may not be consistent but to match up to your best ability. When it is all together you don't notice the inconsistencies. Rotate the tiles each way till you find the closest match up possible and it should turn out alright.. They have very strong adhesive which was nice. Overall seem pretty high quality and super cute.
I have seen here (and on several other websites selling these) two main complaints : pattern doesn't match and they don't stick well. I still think these are very cute and good quality considering the price. I used other sticky tiles previously for my basement and they were breaking easily. These look stronger. As for the pattern, it is indeed not always matching precisely. When you install them, you have to go through several and find the best match. But it will never be perfectly align. At the end, I don't think it's a big deal. The overall result looks really cute anyway. As for the stickiness : indeed, some of the tiles didn't want to stay fully flat on the floor. I guess that they are not perfectly flat and that the glue isn't strong enough to hold them. BUT, as I removed some to find a solution, I realized that they don't leave any trace of glue behind and don't damage the floor underneath at all (and my underneath floor was painted tiles, which are quite easy to damage). So, it makes these a great temporary solution for a rental. And in my case, I just had to add a little bit of glue here and there when necessary and that's it! Overall, I'm really happy with theses tiles!
