This machine was recommended to me by my niece. She said nothing but wonderful things about it. It's simple. I like simple. It's relatively inexpensive. My niece said it lasted a long time, which is more than I can say for my Braun, which was an utter pain. Don't need nor want a timer. Don't want any extra features, just something that makes drip coffee....and lasts. Remains to be seen Performance was one star because I have yet to use it.
